Hi Ilgin,

I’m sorry I have taken so long to give you feedback from our great trip to Turkey. We had our home featured on a historic home tour last weekend and have spent all our time since we returned working to get it ready.

The trip was perfect for us. We so enjoyed your country and people and food and want to return, probably for a Mediterranean, Antalya, Bodrum experience.

Our hotels were all just what we wanted. The Esbelli Evi was very relaxing, the Kismet was spectacular, and the Blue House had a great location and we found it very hospitable. They fixed us something to eat the night we got back very late from the opera. At each hotel we wish we could have spent another night. The Germir Palas was also very lovely.

Our guides were all knowledgeable and outstanding.
Etem was very in tune with what we wanted to do. We seemed culturally in sync and shared interests and ended up friends with him. He showed us parts of Istanbul we never would have seen on our own.
Volkan was very professional. He has made an effort to present the information very clearly and the photos he took of us at Ephesus and Pergamum were the best pictures from the trip. Our Aegean driver was really good. He gave us a great tip on the fish restaurant near the Kismet. We ate there twice.
Alex was closer to our age and we enjoyed talking to him about children, grandchildren and topics of the day. He is a very kind gentleman. The places Alex took us to lunch were especially well chosen and wonderful.

And most of all thanks to your personal involvement and care we had lots of fun and relaxation.

Just a note to let you know the tour was a great success which we all enjoyed enormously. Your Turkish agent could not have been more helpful or efficient. In particular our guide Kenan Tamer was quite outstanding in his knowledge of his subject and his never failing attention to all our needs. We also appreciated a nightly telephone call from the manager Sirma to check on our progress.

A & K remain our first choice for any future trips!

How can we ever thank you for giving us such an absolutely wonderful tour. Our appreciation is beyond words!

Every minute of this trip has been, thanks to you, a delight-your warmth, humour, a joy, and your concern for our comfort, your attentiveness to detail and your thoughtfulness, amazing.

We leave Turkey with only the happiest memories-it’s a really beautiful country and you have brought its fascinating history alive for us.

We shall miss you and our happy times together, and you and Turkey will be happy memories for a long time. We hope to meet again-perhaps in South Africa!

Just got back to Dubai.
Thank you so much for all your help and a very professionally organized tour for us. Above all you had the ability to make us feel special and that will leave a lasting impression. Very well done. You are particularly good on the PR front and have excellent abilities in this area so perhaps should continue to pursue your career in this area.

Do thank all those who were involved in the organization, but we could not meet, in making this trip a memorable one.

We will only be able to think of you if anyone asks us about going to Turkey.

Hope no one who were interacting with us were in any way disappointed with us or our actions, including what we gave as tokens of our appreciation for their services (tips I mean!).
