| Dear Sila, | |
| I wanted to write and thank you so much for choosing Serkan as our guide. He was wonderful to us and we were overwhelmed by his genuineness. He was totally patient with all of our questions. Our whole family was amazed by Serkan's complete knowledge of the history of Ephesus. (Again, thank you for your careful selection.) It was an amazing tour - much more than we could have ever imagined! We also loved visiting Sirince. The restaurant you chose for our lunch was a highlight of our vacation. The entire day that you planned for us was perfect. We will be talking about our tour for many years to come and we have you to thank for it. You are a blessing and we thank you for your incredible kindness and professionalism. |

| Dear Sirma, | |
| First of all, thanks so much for the lovely dinner on Friday which - you were right - was a great restaurant and lovely location. I write also to say how very grateful we are that you arranged for us to be taken round by Ozgur (and also driven around by Suleyman). Ozgur really listened and adapted his program according to us. I love his way of gently telling us we SHOULD do something by saying HE wanted to do it (like Gobekli Tepe). Then when I suggested something which turned out to be quite inconvenient since it delayed lunch a lot - Karatepe - he had no problem asking directions, pouring over a map and finding it for us. I LOVED that he recommended the dervish ceremony by saying it was 'moving' - the one word that absolutely clicked with us. Suleyman is a darling, a VERY careful driver, but still maintaining a good pace. The car would always be cool, clean and welcoming. Though the hotels were nice, it was his car that was "home' to us for 9 days. Meanwhile, I am up early due to jet lag, so want to go back to the many books on Turkey that I have not yet finished. Then I MIGHT try a nice Turkish coffee in that lovely set you gifted us. WE WILL BE BACK!! (and don't forget to call us - SIRMA and Ozgur -) if you ever come here or go to India for that matter. |
